This artwork was created for Aspen's Fantasy Food Market zine following her proposed theme.I aimed to capture a daily cosy scene. Because of the market theme, I set it on a mediaeval street with a bakery next to a food stall. Different fantasy characters were designed to match the world and engage in different activities on this street. I wanted this drawing to feel alive, to pique the viewer’s curiosity, wanting to discover what each character is doing or talking about.
